If you live in Warman or Saskatoon, you woke up today to some of the most beautiful winter frost I’ve ever seen. Huge, puffy, crystalline snowflakes fell against and stuck to hoarfrost overnight, leaving sculptural sparkling branches today. It was truly magical, and just in time for Christmas! This is a big gallery – I couldn’t get below 45 photos – but I just didn’t have the heart to cut any more. They’re all so special!! I’ve never seen frost like this, and I’m so thankful that I was able to get outside for an hour today… even if it did leave me with frozen fingers and fogged up glasses. Now, I just need to pick one to make a large scale print for the wall… any suggestions?
