I did a family session today for a couple celebrating their 50th anniversary. Meet John and Gloria. (They look too young, I know.)
From the 4 corners of the Earth (ok, I’m exaggerating) they managed to gather together their 4 girls, along with their spouses, children and one shiny new fiancé! The session was fantastic! I really felt like I was a good fit for this group. I was able to coax away the stiff formal expectations and replace them with something more honest, more relaxed. By the end of the session, we were like old pals and they were all hooting and hollering as the kids squared off in a piggyback race. Loved the afternoon with this special special family!
