It seems I’m getting used to the crazy.
No, seriously, after 4 (or is it 5?) years of our Halloween pet photo food drive and fundraiser for the Saskatoon SPCA, I’ve become a bit desensitized. A Shitzu dressed up as a Geisha? Sure. Lab dressed as a triceratops? Bring it on. Cat dressed as a skunk? No biggie. Goat in a fairy outfit, complete with wings? I’m in. I have quite the job.
Thanks to everyone who came to Early’s Farm and Garden Centre this past Saturday, and thanks especially to the Early’s staff, who helped us out all day (and didn’t even flinch when the fairy-goat got a bit overexcited and peed on the floor!) We collected loads of food, toys and litter for the animals, and we made a lot of pets, and their pet parents, smile.
